Broadway Dreams and Millikin University announced today that Jake Faragalli will be the third Broadway Dreams student to receive a four-year full tuition scholarship to the Illinois university's BFA Musical Theatre program. Faragalli will begin classes at Millikin in fall 2019. The Broadway Dreams Scholarship was established in partnership with Millikin University in 2016 and is awarded each year to a deserving student who has participated in Broadway Dreams Summer Intensives, workshops, and residencies.

Jake Faragalli has been a Broadway Dreams student since the age of 11, participating in the organization's programming in Philadelphia and New York City. Faragalli already has several impressive performance credits on his resume, including Elf at Papermill Playhouse and A Midsummer's Night Dream directed by Julie Taymor both on stage and on film.

"Jake is a remarkably talented and kind young man who is incredibly deserving of this life-changing opportunity," said Broadway Dreams Founder and President, Annette Tanner. "We know he will be a brilliant addition to the Millikin Family. All of us at Broadway Dreams are deeply appreciative to our partners at Millikin for gifting a quality education for yet another one of our beloved students."

"We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to Broadway Dreams alumnus, Jake Faragalli," said Sean Morrissey Artist in Residence, Millikin-Broadway Dreams Scholarship Coordinator. "He is a gifted young man whose artistic and academic talent made him a clear frontrunner in a deep and extremely competitive pool of Broadway Dreams applicants. He is truly deserving of this scholarship and we look forward to spending the next four years with Jake, helping him to grow into the artist he is striving to become. The School of Theatre and Dance is truly grateful for its relationship with Broadway Dreams and the students from their programs who have become valued members of the Millikin community."
