Colourful Live Art Shows Come To Cork For Quarter Block Party

The sixth edition of Quarter Block Party festival, in association with Jameson Irish Whiskey, is gearing up to inject life and colour into Cork city from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th February 2020. The festival will sprawl through the city's streets and venues with over 50 music, art, and theatre performances. Amble through a weekend wonderland of pop-up shows, public art events, and creative discussion in the shops, venues, and outdoor spaces to discover some of the freshest high-calibre Irish and International artists.

Escape the Snow to a Tropical Paradise with Bob Marley's THREE LITTLE BIRDS at Children's Theatre Company

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) has announced the Minnesota premiere of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds running January 19 through March 1, 2020. This exuberant musical is based on a story by Cedella Marley (Bob Marley's daughter) with music and lyrics by Bob Marley, and adapted for the stage by Michael J. Bobbitt. The production is directed by Shá Cage, music direction by Sanford Moore, and choreography by Alanna Morris-Van Tassel. The cast includes Ellis M. Dossavi (Ziggy), KateMarie Andrews (Nansi), Kory LaQuess Pullam (Duppy), Lynnea Monique Doublette (Cedella), Nathan Barlow (Dr. Bird), and Timotha Lanae (Tacoomah). Evelyn Hoskins Will Join WAITRESS; Marisha Wallace Will Return In January 2020

Waitress the musical will welcome Evelyn Hoskins (Assassins, Spring Awakening) to the role of Dawn in the New Year while original London cast member Marisha Wallace (Dreamgirls, Aladdin) is also announced to return to the West End production. Evelyn Hoskins will join the smash hit musical comedy on 25 January following Hannah Tointon's final performance, and Marisha Wallace will resume the role of Becky on 6 January following Sandra Marvin's final performance. Monique Ashe-Palmer will also join in the ensemble from 9 January, taking on the role from Cindy Belliot.
