Bradley Dean, who recently appeared as Carl-Magnus opposite Bernadette Peters in the Broadway revival of A Little Night Music, will begin performances as El Gallo, the charming and manipulative narrator in The Fantasticks, on Monday, July 25, 2011. Edward Watts, who currently plays the role, will give his final performance on July 24.
The Amoralists will present HotelMotel, a site-specific theatrical event featuring the New York Premiere of Animals and Plants, written and directed by Obie Award-winner Adam Rapp, and the World Premiere of Pink Knees on Pale Skin, written and directed by Derek Ahonen.

Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly, The West End's original MARY POPPINS, returns to the Broadway company on Tuesday, July 19 (8pm) at the New Amsterdam Theatre. She re-joins Tony Award nominee Gavin Lee, who originated the role of Bert in the West End and on Broadway.
With Annie returning to Broadway in 2012, Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City will present the second of several Annie-themed master classes. They are thrilled to announce that Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle, will be leading the class on Monday, July 25th. A representative from Telsey & Co., the casting directors for the revival, will also be present to lead an audition technique class. Space is limited, and only a few spots remain available.
Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry and his family attended Mary Poppins, their first Broadway show, Sunday in New York City. Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins) welcomed Petry onstage to an appreciative roar from the matinee audience. Upon Petry's Medal of Honor presentation ceremony on July 12, 2011, he became the second living recipient of the award for actions occurring since the Vietnam War. The Town Hall, New York City's landmark theater and concert venue, kicked off its acclaimed 5th Annual Summer Broadway Festival with Broadway's Rising Stars on July 11th and concludes with All Singin' All Dancin' on Monday, July 25th at 8PM. Broadway's Rising Stars showcases students from theatrical institutions across the country who will be making their debut on the Town Hall stage. All Singin' All Dancin' features Broadway show tunes sporting brand new choreography from Mark Stuart and Lorin Latarro, performed by today's Broadway song and dance stars. Ross Patterson is the musical director, with Scott Siegel as creator, writer, and director.
Multiple Emmy Award winner Ted Danson will join the cast of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, in a series regular role, on the CBS Television Network. His character will debut in the season premiere on Wednesday, September 21 (10:00-11:00 PM,ET/PT). Danson will play the new CSI Supervisor for the grave shift after heading the crime lab in Portland. He comes to the team as they are still grappling with the professional and personal fallout from last season's take-down of serial killer, Nate Haskell. 'You can create a new character on the page, but until the perfect actor comes along and breathes life into it, it's just words,' said Executive Producer Carol Mendelsohn. 'We're very excited Ted Danson came along.'
