Bristol Old Vic and Altitude have announced their new stage to screen partnership, which will bring the theatre’s recent acclaimed stage production of Hamlet to cinema screens across the UK & Ireland for the first time from 6 April.

2022 started with the UK fighting with Covid's Omicron variant, which was not really conducive to much theatrical mingling. However, much of the theatre world ralied, as it always does, to bring us some juicy shows and sparkling performances.

With one week to go before previews begin for Bristol Old Vic's new production of Hamlet, we take a look inside rehearsals with brand new photos.

Southwark Playhouse has postponed the upcoming professional world premiere of Philip Ridley's The Beast of Blue Yonder.
