Dawn Derow Reprises THE HOUSE THAT BUILT ME At The Laurie Beechman Theatre

After two acclaimed performances this past June at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Dawn Derowbrings back The House That Built Me to The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Sunday, October27th at 1:00 pm and Thursday, November 14that 7:00 pm. Directed by multiple MAC Award- winning director Jeff Harnar, the show features musical direction by Matt Baker with Peter Calo on guitar and Steve Doyle on bass.

GRAMMY Museum Presents 'Latin GRAMMY, 20 Years Of Excellence'

To celebrate the milestone 20th anniversary of the Latin GRAMMY Awards®, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents Latin GRAMMY®, 20 Years Of Excellence. On Nov. 18, the Museum will kick off the opening of the new Latin music exhibit and its new third floor with a full day of programming, including an education program for students, live performances, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy® and Michael Sticka, President of the GRAMMY Museum, along with prestigious Latin artists and personalities. The evening event is free, including entry to the Museum, and is open to the public on a special first-come, first-served basis. The exhibit will run through spring 2020.

Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley/CuzBro Prods Joins the Producing Team of Country Musical MAY WE ALL

Lively McCabe Entertainment announces a partnership with Brian Kelley -- of the multi-platinum, award-winning duo Florida Georgia Line -- via his CuzBro Productions banner, on the recently announced new musical MAY WE ALL. Kelley and partners Stephen Snedden and Justin Halliwell join previously announced producers, Lively McCabe Entertainment President Michael Barra, and Elyse Cogan, Director, Theatrical for BMG. CuzBro will be actively involved in the creative development of the project, and a developmental production will be staged in Memphis, Tennessee at Playhouse on the Square in the fall of 2020 (dates TBA). The producers are simultaneously pursuing a feature film adaptation of the musical.

CMA Songwriters Series Announces Twin Cities Performance

U.S. Bank has announced a performance in St. Paul at the Ordway Music Theater Wednesday, Nov. 20 featuring reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi in addition to CMA Award-winning songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriters taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance are $25 (plus fees) and go on sale Friday, Oct. 18 at 10:00 AM/CT through The Ordway and CMAsongwritersseries.com. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to investing in high quality music education programs for all students in the United States.

Tenille Townes' 10th Annual 'Big Hearts For Big Kids' Benefit Concert Raises $415,000

Emerging singer, songwriter and performer Tenille Townes raised over $415,000 for the Sunrise House—a local youth shelter in her hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada—this past Saturday at her 10th annual Big Hearts For Big Kids benefit concert. Held at Grande Prairie's Tara Centre, the event featured a songwriter round with Adam Hambrick, Gordie Sampson and Striking Matches, a live and silent auction and a special headline performance from Townes. In the ten years since Townes started Big Hearts For Big Kids, the event has raised over $1.9 million.
