 Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to delivering happiness to seriously ill children and their families, has announced a gift from Dave Koz, a longtime ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation for over 25 years.

The Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach has opened and welcomed locals and tourists alike to the opening week of the 2022 Festival of Arts Fine Art Show and the iconic Pageant of the Masters.

Contemporary jazz lovers eagerly await this annual fun filled concert, which has packed fans into halls and arenas coast-to-coast year after year.

Shakespeare & Company has announced a benefit concert this summer featuring Robert Miller's Project Grand Slam — the rock, jazz, and Latin fusion band with a NYC groove! The show takes place on August 17 at 8:30 p.m. at the Tina Packer Playhouse.

Encouraged by overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests, artists and sponsors, Dr. Phillips Center today announced it will extend its award-winning Frontyard FestivalTM through mid-December. The festival was originally expected to close June 12.

Robert Miller had a youthful music dream to become a Rock Star. But like many people, life got in the way of his dream – marriage, kids, job, and financial obligations. But he finally followed and succeeded at his dream when he was in his 60's, an age when most Baby Boomers are planning their retirement.

Robert Miller, acclaimed musician and creative force behind the celebrated Rock/Jazz/Latin fusion band, Project Grand Slam (PGS), will launch his “Follow Your Dream Podcast” on or about March 15th with  initial VIP guests, including “Cousin Brucie” Morrow, Mindi Abair. George Schweitzer, Sandy Shore, and Mark Bego.

The Reverend Shawn Amos delivering his message of joyful blues, bassist Jennifer Leitham, and saxophonist Mindi Abair are featured in a living room recital on The Broad Stage presents The Broad Stage Music Mornings, a new, recurring program featuring live performances from intimate rooms.  

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced its 99th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl, showcasing a roster of world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music. The season features the return of legendary Bowl favorites, celebrated artists and conductors making their Bowl debuts, and the premieres of new LA Phil-commissioned works.

Billboard charting, six-time Global Music Award Medalist and internationally acclaimed jazz and Americana singer/songwriter/pianist Katherine 'KOOL KAT' Farnham will perform with her longtime band at the Steinway Gallery in Nashville on Friday, January 24, 2020. The concert will feature originals from her new project as well as beloved favorites.

A holiday tradition returns as the McCallum Theatre welcomes the Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour 2019 at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18. The show is made possible through the generosity of Wayne and Rachelle Prim. Since the beginning of his career, Koz has been all about dodging expectations and traditions. His brand-new holiday album, Gifts of the Season, is his seventh holiday release, and features the very same guests with him on this year's Christmas tour.

Critically acclaimed American roots artist The Reverend Shawn Amos has released the debut track “Counting Down The Days” from his forthcoming album with The Brotherhood – a group of masterful musicians that includes drummer Brady Blade (Dave Matthews, Indigo Girls), bassist Christopher Thomas (Norah Jones, Carly Simon, Macy Gray) and longtime Rev guitarist Chris “Doctor” Roberts. The track was featured last week at Glide Magazine, who called it “a blackened riff howl of workmanship blues and Texas boogie that never surrenders.” Elmore featured the new lyric video today, saying “this material showcases Shawn Amos's songwriting like no previous Rev outing, alternately furious, vulnerable; crazy, forlorn and tender.”

One of the most recognized and sought-after saxophonists/vocalists, two-time GRAMMY nominee Mindi Abair has been electrifying audiences with her dynamic live performances and utter command of the saxophone since her debut album in 2000. No one since Junior Walker has brought saxophone and vocals in one package to the forefront of modern music, with a raucous tone and dynamic stage presence. She has garnered ten #1 radio hits, six Top 5 solo records and two #1 spots on the Billboard album charts. In 2014, Mindi received her first GRAMMY nomination in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category, followed by a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for her solo LP Wild Heart featuring Gregg Allman, Joe Perry, Trombone Shorty, Booker T. Jones, Keb' Mo', and Max Weinberg.

The McCallum Theatre presents Dave Koz & Friends 'Christmas Tour 2018' today, December 18, at 8:00pm as part of the Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum series. A holiday tradition returns to the McCallum as Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour 2018 brings together a magical combination of musicians to celebrate this special season. Celebrated saxophonist Koz will be joined by special guests Mindi Abair, Jonathan Butler and Keiko Matsui performing their hits and jamming on fresh, lively arrangements of seasonal favorites in a high-energy show for the entire family. 

South African guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler, after touring with Dave Koz for a decade, will join Koz as a headliner for the holiday season in the 21st annual Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2018. Other special guests include Mindi Abair, pop/blues saxophonist/singer who will be making her first Christmas Tour appearance; Japanese keyboard sensation Keiko Matsui; and new artist Shelea. The show will be presented in the Red Rock Ballroom at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa on Dec. 14.

In a career that spans more than three decades, legendary and Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz returns to the road this holiday season for his 21st annual Dave Koz Christmas Tour. Special guests joining Dave this year will be Mindi Abair, pop/blues saxophonist/singer who makes her first Christmas tour appearance; South African guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler; and Japanese keyboard sensation Keiko Matsui.
