J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company will shine a spotlight on the composers and lyricists for the musicals featured in their 2023 season with a brand new cabaret series, In the Spotlight: The J2 Cabaret Series.

Jenna DeVries and Adam Mac partner to add a sexy western spin to the hit pop song sweeping the nation. Originally sung by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, 'Unholy' blew up on TikTok, garnering over 2.5 million videos using the song.

The trailer for Rare Objects, starring, written, directed, and produced by Katie Holmes, has been released. The film also stars Tony winner Alan Cumming, Julie Mayorga, Derek Luke, and Saundra Santiago. Rare Objects is based on Kathleen Tessaro's 2016 novel of the same name, which Holmes adapted for the big screen. Watch the new video trailer now!

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble will present the world premiere of Motherhouse by RTE Ensemble member Tuckie White, directed by Azar Kazemi. 

New York Theatre Barn will launch the 10th season of its Choreography Lab on Sunday, March 12th, 2023 at 6PM ET. The in-person presentation will also be streamed live from Open Jar Studios in New York City.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ahsoka, Kate, Birds of Prey) will join Showtime's A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW, starring alongside Emmy® winner Ewan McGregor. An adaptation of Amor Towles’ internationally best-selling novel, the limited series has begun filming this week. Winstead will star as Anna Urbanova.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 season comes to a close with Zach Redler's opera about military spirit with The Falling and the Rising. The Falling and the Rising opens May 12, 2022 at 7:30 PM at the Balboa Theatre as part of the dētour Series. Additional performances are May 13 at 7:30 PM and May 14 at 1 PM.
