In their twelfth season, Guerilla Opera's board of directors appoints Aliana de la Guardia and Julia Noulin-Merat as co-artistic directors. De la Guardia and Noulin-Merat have been working together to produce the experimental company's world premiere operas and productions since 2009. Possum Point Players have a cast of 41, and ticket sales have begun for an early fall production of 'Disney's Beauty and the Beast.' With shows scheduled for Oct. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15, Director Jim Hartzell of Georgetown said ticket purchases are already steady.
