Even funnier than one of the Queen's corgis cutting a caper, Possum Point Players production of "See How They Run," is continuous action from curtain to curtain. The final performances will take place June 13, 14 and 15 at Possum Hall in Georgetown. The modern day farce illustrates what can happen if almost every man on stage is clothed in the cloth and pretending to be pious and most of the women are daft or drunk.

Possum Point Players production of "See How They Run," will not only keep the audience laughing, but it just might clear up some age old questions such as the meaning of "One man's pyjamas is another man's night-shirt" or why did the Bishop get knocked down on to that marrow bed? Or maybe it won't clarify anything other than there will be ample reason for laughter June 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 at Possum Hall in Georgetown.

Written by Monique Witt and directed by Mike Williams, it features Alex Montaldo as the jaded scion of a wealthy industrialist. The young man has been paralyzed in an accident while climbing Everest and finds himself , as the play opens, wheel-chair bound and forgotten in an ER on the edge of El Barrio. A lethal fire has overwhelmed the emergency staff and left the less urgent cases to fend for themselves while waiting to be treated. As he waits with an asthma patient from Spanish Harlem and an older woman, the three pass the hours by playing cards and trading barbed anecdotes. And in the process of trying to stem the chasm created by their differences, each finds a small healing. Advance tickets are available at www.eventbrite.com
