Chester Theatre Company Announces THE STORY OF KING LEAR

Chester Theatre Company (CTC) has announced its first virtual performance, The Story of King Lear, a 50-minute telling of the Shakespeare classic adapted and directed by CTC Producing Artistic Director Daniel Elihu Kramer. The show will air at 7:00pm (eastern) on Thursday, August 27, and will be available for viewing through Sunday, August 30.

The Actors Fund in association with Universal Theatrical Group and Margaret Styne will present a one-night only concert presentation of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.). The evening will be directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award® and Emmy Award® winner John McDaniel has written new orchestrations for the score and will serve at the evening's music director.

Playhouse Theatre Incorporated has assembled a cast of stellar performers for their production of 'Spamalot' which opened on Saturday night. The laughter and vibe of fun amongst the audience was a testament to the high energy and talent on the stage.
All performers more-than-ably delivered the offbeat humour with the right ingredients of 'silly seriousness', sung extremely well, and dance like pros.
