Celebrating Broadway’s return, Seth’s Broadway Breakdown will premiere with a press preview on Sunday, September 12, with performances three times a week starting on October 15th. The show will be produced by Asylum NYC’s artistic director, Alan Kliffer.

Sony Masterworks has released “Fly Away,” the next single off Tony, Emmy, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning composer Tom Kitt’s debut studio album Reflect, out August 13. Featuring vocals by Kitt and his 16-year-old son Michael, “Fly Away” was written for Kitt’s band in the late 1990s.

The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance has appointed acclaimed musical theater artist and educator Michael McElroy as the new chair of the school's top-ranking Department of Musical Theatre.

Reflect features songs co-written and performed by some of Broadway's biggest stars, including Adrienne Warren, Mandy Gonzalez, Michael McElroy, Jenn Colella, Danny Burstein, Javier Muñoz, Lauren Patten, Jerry Dixon, Elizabeth Stanley, Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian d'Arcy James and Pearl Sun along with Kitt's own children Julia and Michael Kitt.

It was announced today that Broadway Inspirational Voices, the Tony Award-winning not-for-profit choir, will gather together to perform two nights of special events of gospel and Broadway music at New York City’s newest public park, Little Island, on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 at 8 PM ET. 

Little Island, a 2.4-acre public park in Hudson River Park on the West side of Manhattan, officially opened today! Little island, located in the Hudson River off of the West Side Highway with entrances at West 13th and 14th Streets, is open to the public daily from 6:00 am through 1:00 am. Programming will feature BIV, Tina Landau and more.

The park – one of the first to open in the city since the COVID-19 pandemic – provides serene spaces to explore, new venues for live performances and cultural events, and unique vantage points to view the surrounding area.

MasterVoices is presenting Faith, the fourth chapter of its four-part virtual rollout of award-winning composer Adam Guettel’s theatrical song cycle, Myths and Hymns. Conceived and supervised by Mr. Sperling, this free digital production’s final chapter will be offered starting on Wednesday, May 26 at 6:30 PM ET

Eric Anthony Lopez (Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of The Opera) has released a stirring rendition of “The Music of The Night”. He covers the leading tenor role on The World Tour, with his regular role of Passarino 8x a week.
