New Zealand actor Peter Land is to dedicate his new London show, NOW OR NEVER, as a fundraiser for the victims of the devastating Christchurch earthquake.

The OBIE Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) - now in its 21st season - presents A NUMBER, OBIE Award-winner and 2010 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee Caryl Churchill's acclaimed play about human cloning and identity, starring OBIE Award-winner James Saito and Joel de la Fuente, with previews set to begin March 12 prior to it official press opening March 17 at Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street) in Manhattan.

Peter Land, currently appearing in OperaUpClose's acclaimed production of 'Madam?Butterfly (or Bangkok Butterfly)' at London's?Little?Opera House at the King's?Head Theatre, is going solo at the venue for four Sundays of cabaret titled 'NOW?OR?NEVER'

The 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, the only televised awards show honoring performers in film and television, announced nominees at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Thursday, December 16.

According to Deadline.com, Michael Gambon has joined previously announced Dustin Hoffman and Joan Allen in HBO's Luck. The upcoming series will focus on the world of horse racing. Gambon will play Ace Bernstein.

According to the BBC, PASSION was named the Best Musical at the 56th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards while Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNEY PARK won the Best Play Award on Nov. 28 in a ceremony at London's Savoy Hotel. Sir Peter Hall was also honored with the Moscow Art Theatre's Golden Seagull Award for his contribution to world theatre while Sir Michael Gambon was awarded the Lebedev Special Award for his contribution to British theatre.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has confirmed that MATILDA, A MUSICAL will begin performances this November at the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. The show will run from November 9th through January 2011 under the direction of Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, with book by Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
