AFM 2012 Announces Premieres Lineup

The 2012 American Film Market (AFM), set for October 31-November 7 in Santa Monica will screen more than 420 motion pictures, including 77 world premieres and 306 market premieres, for thousands of film buyers and industry professionals from more than 70 countries. Jonathan Wolf, AFM Managing Director and Executive Vice President of the Independent Film & Television Alliance, made the announcement today.

The American Film Institute's annual festival announced the line up for its Centerpiece Galas today. Featured in the top spots will be Ang Lee's Life Of Pi, Walter Salles' On The Road, DreamWorks Animation's Rise Of The Guardians and Jacques Audiard's Rust And Bone starring Marion Cotillard. Also included will be the world premiere of HITCHCOCK, starring Anthony Hopkins in the title role.

Jermyn Street Theatre has announced the full cast for one of the most eagerly awaited theatre events of the year. Joining Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon in Trevor Nunn's production of All That Fall, a radio play by Samuel Beckett, will be Catherine Cusack, Oliver Barry-Brook, Ruairi Conaghan, Ian Conningham, Aidan Dunlop, Frank Grimes, James Hayes and Gerard Horan. Jermyn Street Theatre presents BOY MEETS BOY, a musical comedy with Music and Lyrics by Bill Solly and Book by Bill Solly and Donald Ward. The show will be directed by Gene David Kirk with musical director Stefan Bednarczyk, choreographer Lee Proud, designer Cherry Truluck and lighting designer Phil Hewitt. BOY MEETS BOY will play 21st November to 20th December with Press Night set for Tuesday, 27 November 2012 at 7.30pm.

Trevor Nunn is to direct a cast including Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen in Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre later this year. Joining the trio on stage will be Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle and Steven Edis, who is also the show's Musical Director. The production runs September 17, 2012 - January 5, 2013, with an opening night scheduled for September 27, 2012.
