Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of both a Special Drama Desk Award and Obie Award, has announced that that their award-winning 2010 production of See Rock City & Other Destinations will receive an original cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The Drama Desk and Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show was directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III.
For the very first time, two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera brings her concert, Chita Rivera: MY BROADWAY, to The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in the intimate setting of The Chase Room and performs songs from her legendary Broadway career. On Monday, May 14, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present Telly Leung, one of the stars of Godspell, in 'Playlist.' The show, directed by Alan Muraoka with musical direction by Gary Adler, celebrated Telly's own playlist of favorite songs that have inspired him through the years. The band included Michael Croiter on drums and Mary Ann McSweeney on bass.

The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, will celebrate the classic thriller's birthday with a special added late show this Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 PM at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) This season's hit, SILENCE! The Musical, has a book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, and has been extended 5 times to date.
Brent Barrett, Jenn Harris and the entire cast of SILENCE! The Musical took to the stage at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble yesterday, February 23rd at 5 PM to perform selections from the hit parody of the classic film The Silence of the Lambs. Brian J.
