Today, in a deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT), Hulu has announced that it has acquired the rights to fan favorite comedy Designing Women set to stream on Hulu August 26...Women's Equality Day!

ABC has handed out a script commitment for what's being called a 'sequel' to the CBS comedy Designing Women, according to The Hollywood Reporter. 

Sony Pictures TV is in the works to revive the classic 1990s sitcom Designing Women, according to Deadline. The series' original creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomason heading the reboot.
