Elf The Musical is a jolly fun, heartwarming holiday tale for the whole family. Poteet Theatre inside St. Luke's United Methodist Church presents this musical on their cozy stage in downtown Oklahoma City. Buddy Hobbs grows up at the North Pole, and soon discovers he's not one of Santa's elves at all, but a human with a real dad and brother in NYC.

Producers and co-presidents of the Prom Committee announced today that the National Tour of the 2019 Drama Desk Award winner for Outstanding Musical THE PROM will play at Overture Center for the Arts from Tuesday, March 22 through Sunday, March 27.

With Tony Award-winning musicals A Chorus Line and Rogers and Hammerstein’s The King and I, plus the empowering story of Steel Magnolias, Agatha Christie’s classic whodunnit Murder on the Orient Express, and the family-friendly holiday spectacular Elf the Musical, Drury Lane introduces what’s sure to be a thrilling 2022/23 theatre season.

An all new clip has been released from the Spanish-language production of the hit musical The Prom currently playing at Centro Cultural Teatro II in México City.

Each holiday season Beck Center presents a child-centric show. The scripts are the likes of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LITTLE MERMAID, and SHREK. Internationaal musical vedette en meervoudig Award winnares Pia Douwes keert terug op de vaderlandse podia. Theaterproducent De Graaf & Cornelissen Entertainment is trots om bekend te maken dat Pia Douwes vanaf september 2022 de hoofdrol in de nieuwe musical The Prom zal vertolken. Het is dan drie jaar geleden dat Pia in een Nederlandse theaterproductie te zien was. Pia Douwes zal in de voorstelling de rol van Dee Dee Allen spelen, een rol die Meryl Streep in de verfilming van de musical vertolkte. 'Ik ben enorm blij met het vertrouwen van artistiek producent Hans Cornelissen,' laat Pia Douwes weten. 'De rol van Dee Dee Allen, een ervaren maar ook een narcistische en uitgerangeerde musicalactrice, is geweldig om te spelen. Ik heb uiteraard de film gezien en ik verheug me om volgend jaar te gaan repeteren met een ongetwijfeld geweldige cast.'

Tyler Pirrung is terrific as Buddy in Arizona Broadway Theatre's ELF THE MUSICAL, directed and choreographed by Kurtis Overby. The show runs through December 29th.

Former NBA sharpshooter JJ Redick and music legends Dave Koz and David Foster as well as a Motown icon double bill of The Temptations and The Four Tops are just part of the magic this December at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
