The Chita Rivera Awards, taking place at The NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts this Sunday, May 19, announces presenters for the evening. Presenters include Chita Rivera, Andy Blankenbuehler, Camille A. Brown, Ariana DeBose, Luann de Lesseps, Micaela Diamond, Damon J. Gillespie, Savion Glover, Marilu Henner, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tiler Peck, Lee Roy Reams, Michael Riedel, Ethan Slater, Mary Testa and Richard Thomas.

This year's Tony nominees transported us with the magic of theatre, and we're saluting their work by taking a closer look at their extraordinary accomplishments. Today we're studying up on Amber Gray!

New Dramatists, Tony Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, honored three-time Tony Award winner, Nathan Lane, with its 2019 Distinguished Achievement Award at its 70th Annual Spring Luncheon Tribute on Tuesday, May 14th at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Television through the years: shared musical memories through a magical box. Lyrics & Lyricists closes its 2019 season with a loving look at the songs written for or introduced on the small screen that shaped our culture and connected us all. The set we watched together in the den gave us songs by great musical theater writers such as Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter, specials by Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, nights with Ed Sullivan and theme songs whose lyrics have a permanent place in our hearts. Live and In Living Color  includes songs such as "Love and Marriage", Steve Allen's "This Could Be the Start of Something", songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, and a medley of beloved TV theme songs.

Producer Eva Price announced today that the reimagined revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! will launch its North American tour at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the Fall of 2020. The 2020 tour will mark the first time a First Class Equity production of Oklahoma! has toured North America in 40 years.

One of the hottest lines on Broadway isn't for rush tickets or the stage door, it's for Aunt Eller's chili at Oklahoma! Spotted this week was Lin-Manuel Miranda sampling the tasty morsel. Check out the photo below!

The Brooklyn Diner Times Square (155 West 43rd Street) honored Tony nominee Mary Testa, Aunt Eller in the hit Tony nominated revival of Oklahoma! by renaming their signature chili, 'Aunt Eller's Chili.'

Oklahoma native Kristin Chenowith took to the plains to see the hit Tony Award nominated "Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!" at Circle in the Square. After the show she joined fellow attendee Jesse Tyler Ferguson to congratulate the stars, Damon Daunno, Ali Stroker, James Davis and Will Brill. Actress Ali Stroker made history as the first Broadway performer in a wheelchair. Now she's nominated for a Tony Award. Stroker joins 'CBS This Morning' to share how the production of "Oklahoma!" brings a modern twist to the classic musical.

Tony season has arrived! The nominations for the biggest Broadway awards ceremony were announced earlier this week on Tuesday, April 30. Leading the pack was Hadestown with 14 nominations. Check out the full list here!

The hit reimagined revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! has announced an extension due to popular demand at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway). Oklahoma!, which opened April 7th as a limited engagement, will now have tickets available through January 19th, 2020. Red Bull Theater Founding Artistic Director, Jim Bredeson - Red Bull Managing Director, and the Board of Trustees of Red Bull Theater are pleased to announce that the Eleventh Annual Running of the Red Bulls Gala Benefit on Monday June 3rd, at 6pm, will celebrate the company's 16th Season and honor director Daniel Sullivan, actor Condola Rashad, and the American Theatre Wing with the 2019 Matador Awards for Excellence in Classical Theater. Proceeds from the evening support all of Red Bull Theater's programs including its Off-Broadway productions of The White Devil and Mac Beth, Revelation Readings series, and its Shakespeare in Schools initiative.

Many of Broadway's brightest stars, most sensational ensembles and illustrious legends will make special appearances at the 33rd annual Easter Bonnet Competition on Monday, April 22, at 4:30 pm and Tuesday, April 23, at 2 pm.
