TIL DIVORCE DO US PART: THE MUSICAL, which begins previews on Friday, February 7th will be giving Valentine's presents to the entire audience on Friday, February 14th at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street- in Union Square). The producers of the show felt that everyone deserves to feel loved and appreciated. After all, the musical comedy is based on the real-life story of a woman who wrote this show while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer, who left her for a much younger woman.

TIL DIVORCE DO US PART, an original musical comedy revue based on the real-life story of a jilted wife who wrote this show while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer, will open Tuesday, February 18th at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street at Union Square). The show will play an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement, beginning with previews on Friday, February 7th. Son of a Gun, a new folk rock musical which was planned to begin performances at Theatre Row on Thursday, November 1 will instead begin performances on Friday, November 2.

American Idiot's Van Hughes and Hair's Ryan Link will star in Son of a Gun, a contemporary folk rock musical previously developed with the O'Neill Theater Center, Joe's Pub and The Drama League. Performances begin November 1, 2012 at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. Gabriel Barre (Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, john & jen) directs.

The October 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features an excerpt from the new musical Academia Nuts called Speaking Geek: The Songs of Academia Nuts, as well as a selection of songs by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. The monthly series is executive produced by Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum.

On Monday April 23rd, Vanessa Ragland and Sarah Ziegler will host a fundraiser cabaret for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The night will feature new works by Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair (Murder For Two), Sam Carner and Derek Gregor (Unlock'd), Adam Michael Kaufman and Martin Landry, Adam Overett, Ian Weinberger, and Oran Eldor and Sarah Ziegler. In addition to contributing new medically-themed material, Kinosian, Landry, Overett (Light in the Piazza) and Ziegler will also be performing. Other performers include Holly Buczek, Mark Campbell (Mamma Mia!), Janice Landry, Vanessa Ragland, Ari Rossen, Erin Sjostrom, and Cecelia Ticktin.

At the second concert in Merkin Concert Hall's 2012 Broadway Playhouse series, children discover the musicals of the great Stephen Sondheim through mini-musicals, medleys, sing-alongs and interactive games. Featuring kid-friendly explorations of Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Follies and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

A one-night only concert reading presentation of the parody Twilight: The Musical was presented by Ulmer Theatricals, Moxyrah Productions, and Dreamcatcher Entertainment, January 16th, 2012 at 8pm to benefit the national charity organization Blessings in a Backpack.
