Jane McDonald is to take the starring role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS when it returns to Blackpool direct from its sell-out season at the London Palladium in the West End.

Today we continue a special spotlight series highlighting the spectacular entertainment set to be presented this coming Monday, June 16, at Joe's Pub, THE LORD & THE MASTER: BROADWAYWORLD.COM SINGS THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER & STEPHEN SONDHEIM with a tribute to two musicals sharing a special theme, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE and TELL ME ON A SUNDAY.

GODSPELL, the beloved musical from Stephen Schwartz, the GRAMMY and Academy Award-winning composer of WICKED, returns to London's West End for the first time in over 40 years tonight. Russell Scott Entertainment in association with In House Casting brought back the musical sensation to London for one night only, tonight, May 19, 2014. Godspell in Concert will be performed on Monday 19th May 2014 at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. The show, which was last seen in the West End over 40 years ago, will be introduced by David Essex and feature a West End line-up including Zoe Tyler, Andy Abraham and Stewart Clarke. Special guests include members of the original West End cast, Marti Webb, Gay Soper and Tom Saffery.

Nominees are The Sound of Music (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), Tell Me On A Sunday (St James/Duchess Theatre) and Merrily We Roll Along (Menier Chocolate Factory/Harold Pinter Theatre)

Marti Webb, who recently returned to the West End in triumph in her seminal musical, Tell Me on a Sunday, has confirmed she will reunite with David Essex and other original members of the rock musical Godspell at the Lyric Theatre on Monday 19 May.

St. James Theatre Productions Ltd, Barry Satchwell-Smith & Robert Mackintosh have announced that due to public demand, the original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black's classic Tell Me On a Sunday starring the original Marti Webb will transfer to the Duchess Theatre. Following its sell out run at the St. James Theatre starting on Tuesday 7th January, Tell Me On a Sunday will transfer on Tuesday 18th February for limited run of two weeks. Tickets are now on sale.

On October 3, Royal Festival Hall will present A LIFE IN SONG: LYRICS BY DON BLACK- a celebration of one of the world's most versatile lyricists, the Oscar-winning Don Black, with the man himself in attendance.

Today it is announced that Michael Ball will lead the stellar guest line up to perform and pay tribute at A Life In Song, Lyrics by Don Black at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 3rd October 2013 to the backdrop of the BBC Concert Orchestra. Only Men Aloud, Marti Webb, Mary-Jess Leaverland and Sir Richard Stilgoe will also to take to the stage.

THE LAST SONG is the long awaited final studio album from legendary performer Anthony Newley. Recorded in London between 1996 and 1997, these timeless songs represent Anthony Newley's final recordings and have remained unreleased, until now.

Anthony Newley has had an extremely successful career since the 1950's. A star of stage, screen and music; this new album The Last Song is a celebration of his work and features fourteen previously unreleased tracks including duets with Petula Clark, Julia McKenzie and Marti Webb.
