The original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black's classicTell Me On a Sunday starring the original Marti Webb is back! The show opened on Sunday, at the Duchess Theatre and we've got photos of the opening night guests. The production also just extended its two week run at the Duchess Theatre to three weeks, from Tuesday 18 February - Saturday 8 March. Tickets are now on sale.
Tell Me On a Sunday tells the story of an English girl newly arrived in New York. Brimming with optimism, she sets out to find success, companionship and love. But as she weaves her way through the maze of the city and her own anxieties, frustrations and heartaches she begins to wonder whether - in fact - she's been looking for love in all the wrong places.
Marti reprises her original role in Tell Me On a Sunday, for which she received huge critical acclaim. Tell Me On a Sundaywas originally performed as an album and then a TV special and later on stage as one half of Song & Dance. The album Tell Me on a Sunday reached Number One in the charts and the single Take That Look Off Your Face reached Number Two.
