Jean Smart, Emmy, SAG Awards and Critics Choice Awards winner for her performance in season one of the series, will return along with Hannah Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins and Jane Adams. Laurie Metclafe, Christopher McDonald, Kaitlin Olson, Paul W. Downs, Poppy Liu, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato, Meg Stalter, and Angela E. Gibbs will also appear.

For the first time in three years, PaleyFest LA returns in person as the spring's hottest television festival with exclusive behind-the-scenes conversations with leading stars from the most acclaimed and buzzworthy TV shows, screenings of special preview and premiere content, never-before-seen TV footage, and a Q&A with festival attendees.

New Yorker hailed the series as “bracingly fresh and wholly original” while Variety noted it was “destined to be a zeitgeist hit.” 

The series is created and showrun by Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.

Alex Newell, Diana DeGarmo, and more will appear in Mélange, a decadent soapy new drama premiering on all LOGO TV digital portal tomorrow.

Freeform has cancelled its teen horror series DEAD OF SUMMER. The series premiered on June 28th and aired in the 9 pm time slot, following the network's juggernaut, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.

Production begins today in Vancouver, Canada, on Freeform's highly anticipated new original series DEAD OF SUMMER, a bold, new show that examines the light and dark of a summer like no other.

Freeform continues to pull up seats to the campfire with the additions of Elizabeth Mitchell (“Lost,” ”The Purge: Election Year”) and Elizabeth Lail (“Once Upon a Time”) to its new original series DEAD OF SUMMER.

The summer just got a bit hotter with Freeform adding Zelda Williams (“Teen Wolf”), Alberto Frezza (“Charlie's Angels”) and Eli Goree (“The 100”) to their new original series “Dead of Summer.”

Williams, Frezza and Goree join already announced cast members Mark Indelicato (“Ugly Betty”), Ronen Rubinstein (“Orange Is the New Black”) and Paulina Singer (“Gotham”).

The hit off-Broadway comedy, Buyer & Cellar, starring Michael Urie ('Ugly Betty'), written by Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Stephen Brackett, opened last night at the Barrow Street Theatre, and is scheduled to run through September 1 only. The Broadway Dreams Foundation presented their Third Annual New York Benefit Performance at the Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) on Monday, November 21, 2011. The special evening, which only happens once a year in NYC, got a spontaneous ovation after a non-stop, 100 minute show, which showed off the talents of BDF students and faculty that assembled from across the country to perform and to show the audience what they were about.
