The Broadway Dreams Foundation will present their Third Annual New York Benefit Performance at the Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 7:30 pm. This August, from the 18th through the 21st, the Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) hosted its Summer Performing Arts Intensive in Philadelphia! During the intensive, attendees received first-rate training in acting, dance and vocal performance daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by savvy Broadway veterans who shared their invaluable insider knowledge on the skills needed to make it in show business.

TV Land announced today that legendary comedic actor Tim Conway will appear in an upcoming episode of the critically-acclaimed hit TV Land sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland.' Also confirmed as guest stars in upcoming episodes are Dave Foley, Canadian comic actor, writer, director, producer and co-star of 'The Kids in the Hall' and 'NewsRadio,' Gary Anthony Williams from 'Boston Legal' and 16-year-old Mark Indelicato, who played 'Betty's' fashion-obsessed nephew on ABC's 'Ugly Betty.'

On July 10 the cast of 'Standing Ovation' attended the films premiere, held at the Universal CityWalk in Universal City, California. Those in attendance included James Broline and Barbra Streisand. Broadwayworld brings you coverage of the premiere below.

During the intensive, attendees will receive first-rate training in acting, dance and vocal performance daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by savvy Broadway veterans who will share their invaluable insider knowledge on the skills needed to make it in show business. Students will also learn how to improve their audition skills (song selections and cold readings) and attend classes geared toward college and career planning (headshots and resumes). At week's end, all participants will have the opportunity to perform alongside their Broadway idols in a 'one night only' concert event. Tony-winner Alice Ripley (Next To Normal) will participate as the guest teacher for the intensive.

Banana Shpeel celebrated it's opening night yesterday, May 19 at 7:00pm at the Beacon Theatre. Previews began on April 29 and performances are scheduled until August 29. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the starry arrivals.
