The hit off-Broadway comedy, Buyer & Cellar, starring Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), written by Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Stephen Brackett, opened last night at the Barrow Street Theatre, and is scheduled to run through September 1 only. BroadwayWorld was there for the opening night festivities and you can check out photos from the theatre arrivals below!

Alex More has a story to tell. A struggling actor in L.A., Alex takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs? Buyer & Cellar is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs.

Buyer & Cellar is the recipient of the 2013 Drama Desk, Clarence Derwent, and Off-Broadway Alliance awards.

Buyer & Cellar plays Tuesday through Sunday at 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm at the Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow Street, east of Seventh Avenue South. Nearby subway stops are the 1 at Christopher Street (walk one block south on Seventh Avenue South to Barrow) and the A, C, E, B, D, F, and M at West 4th Street (walk west on West 4th Street, left on Barrow). Tickets are $75 and may be purchased by phoning 212 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com. The Barrow Street Theatre box office opens daily at 1pm.
