New 42 held its annual gala, The Find Your Light Gala, celebrating the power of the performing arts and arts education, at the Plaza Hotel on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 7pm.

Started in 2015, 'Plays-in-Development' is a unique project to help writers develop their scripts. Actors and directors work one on one with playwrights to learn what works and what does not work about their plays.

TRAIN STOP, a short film about a romantic chance encounter in a train station, will screen at this year's Ashland Independent Film Festival, that will stream online from May 22nd - June 14th. The festival's mission is to celebrate the diversity of human experience through the art of independent film by enriching, educating and inspiring all audiences. To that end, Train Stop can be viewed online throughout the duration as part of a group of shorts, called Short Stories 1: Couples.

The internationally acclaimed, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, will make its Japanese premiere in the summer of 2022.

The American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) and The Sauk, Hillsdale County's Community Theatre, are pleased to announce the cast of the AACT NewPlayFest winning play, On Pine Knoll Street by Mark Cornell.
