Summer Theater Continues With Artists Exchange's 11th Annual One Act Play Festival

Don't miss the final two weekends of Artists' Exchange's 11th Annual One Act Play Festival, showing at Theatre 82 & Cafe in Cranston, RI. Eight original short plays will be performed in "Wave 2," featuring festival favorites Mark Harvey Levine and L.H. Grant, and new exciting names including Dan Borengasser, Mark Cornell, and Ann Marley.

This winter, thirty years after it first premiered at Circle Repertory Company, producers Stacey Mindich and Jessica R. Jenen will present the first-ever Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's acclaimed play, Burn This, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, and starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal. The play will re-open Ambassador Theatre Group's historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th St) on Broadway. Performances begin February 2017, with an opening night set for Monday, March 6, 2017.

10th Annual FRIGID Festival Announces Extensions of Select Shows

Rothkin & Michaels to Stage TEN TALES OF TERROR

Producers Andrew Rothkin and Jay Michaels have come together to produce a series of scary plays befitting the season. This trick or treat bag is filled with prominent artists, guest directors, and premieres. Joseph Koch of Manhattan's memorabilia haven Forbidden Planet and Brooklyn's Warehouse of Wonder (more than 1,000,000 comic books and other memorabilia) is supplying vintage giveaways and prizes. Illustrator Songe Riddle created original poster artwork for the event... 'alas poor... Yorick?'

Nylon Fusion Collective gets into the Halloween spirit with The Round's On Us, a collection of one-act works offering up intense drama and laughs about the frightening, the freaky and the just plain fun at the Gene Frankel Theatre, located at 24 Bond Street.
