Hamilton is keeping the holiday medleys rolling with a tune from the Schuyler Sisters of Hamilton on Broadway, Mandy Gonzalez, Denee Benton, and Alysha Deslorieux. In honor of the first official day of winter yesterday, the trio recorded a rendition of "Silent Night" in Spanish and English.

The fourth edition of Fabrique Du Cinema Awards took place past Saturday December 15th, where the 2018 winners were announced at the Teatro India, Rome. AMERICAN MIRROR, directed by Arthur Balder and produced by David Shara, rose as winner of the Best International Documentary award, being the only USA-production to garner an accolade in the international competition, while the Canadian THE GRIZZLIES, directed by Miranda de Pencier got Best International Feature Film.

Full casting has been announced for Pride Films and Plays' production of SOUTHERN COMFORT. The musical will open to the press on March 4, 2019 in the Broadway theater of the Pride Arts Center and play through March 31.

Pink Arts Peace Productions, Inc. presents the revival of the compelling play by Mario Lantigua, Two Faces One Mirror. Originally showcased in 2013, Mario Lantigua's powerful drama will be revived at the landmark American Theater of Actors, 314 W 54th Street New York City, for a limited run, December 28 - 30.

Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the 1st Place Winner of the BSO's 2019 Young Artist Concerto Competition is Emily Jeeho Park (piano) for her performance of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, Op. 26 (1st movement). Renee Ruiyi Qin (harp) was awarded 2nd Place for her performance of Handel's Harp Concerto in B-Flat Major, Op. 4 No. 6 HWV 294. Also this year, the judges issued an Honorable Mention to Yvette Kraft (violin) for her performance of Karl Goldmark's Violin Concerto in A minor (1st movement).

The Canadian Opera Company announced today a new mainstage commission: The Old Fools by celebrated Montreal-based composer Ana Sokolovi? and seasoned British librettist Paul Bentley. La Reine-Garcon, first announced in 2015, is moving forward as a co-commission with the Opera de Montreal; it's the first mainstage collaboration of its kind between the two major Canadian opera companies and at its helm are two exceptional Canadian artists: Julien Bilodeau as composer and Michel Marc Bouchard as librettist.
