Jose Gomes Filho (1919 a?' 1982), more commonly known as Jackson do Pandeiro, was a Brazilian percussionist and singer who received the nickname a??King of Rhythma??. He is described by Allmusic as a key promotor of Northeastern Brazilian musicand one of the most inventive and influential Brazilian musicians.
Now Jackson do Pandeiro wins a??syncopated homagea?? with direction by Duda Maia, text by Braulio Tavares and Eduardo Rios and musical direction by Alfredo Del-Penho and Beto Lemos.
The show would open in April, was postponed due to the pandemic and will be broadcast live for free on October 10th

The Fall Season will consist of ten weekly sessions of two and half hours for intermediate and professional playwrights. Lab sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting on October 13th.
