BroadwayWorld has learned that The Drama League has just added Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford, Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie, and lauded director Diane Paulus to the roster of special guest performers for The Drama League Centennial Gala, celebrating the organization's 100 years of service.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents the original Broadway kids of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL in THE KIDS FROM A CHRISTMAS STORY on Monday November 2, 2015 at 7:00pm.

Acclaimed Director James Lapine was honored with the 2015 'Mr. Abbott' Award for the outstanding artistry and creativity of his forty-year (and counting) career last night, October 19th.

Happy Birthday Marin Mazzie! Marin most recently starred in the off-Broadway revival of Carrie. Before that she led the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Next to Normal and in the Broadway production of Enron. She received Tony and Drama Desk nominations and an Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance as Lilli/Katharine in the hit revival of Kiss Me, Kate, and later received an Olivier Award nomination when she made her West End debut in the show. Other Broadway credits include: Monty Python's Spamalot (also West End), Ragtime (Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics nominations), Passion (Tony nomination), Man of La Mancha, Into the Woods, Big River, and Out of this World and Kismet (Encores!).

Opening night well-wishers, included Danieley's wife, Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime); Tony Award winner Chita Rivera (The Visit, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink); and Tony Award winning lyricist Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island). Earlier this week, Broadway Actor Jason Danieley revealed details of his wife and fellow performer Marin Mazzie's battle with cancer. Last night was all about celebrating though as he took the stage for his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut. DC Foundation is pleased to announce that Andrew Rannells will host the "Mr. Abbott" Award Gala honoring James Lapine on Monday, October 19, 2015. The event will include special performances by Bernadette Peters, Christine Ebersole, Christian Borle, and Marin Mazzie with appearances by Stephen Sondheim, William Finn, and others. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the "Mr. Abbott" Award Gala will take place at Stage 48 (605 West 48th Street). The event will begin at 6:30 p.m.
