BC BEAT, an evening that sells out and is yet intimate, dynamic, and playful, continues to stimulate new collaboration between choreographers, performers, directors, composers, and producers like no other event in New York City. Just ask Patrick McCollum. He was introduced to Steven Hoggett as a possible performer for his BC BEAT piece in 2011. Following their BC BEAT process, McCollum worked nonstop with Hoggett as an Associate Broadway Choreographer and this year, made his Broadway choreographic debut with THE BAND'S VISIT. McCollum is one of the many Broadway artists who have performed and choreographed at BC BEAT and have made the most of the opportunity at hand.
Academy Of Art University To Host 2018 Graduation Fashion Show And Awards Ceremony

The School of Fashion at Academy of Art University will host its annual Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 26, 2018. The invitation-only event begins with select graduating students from the M.F.A. and B.F.A. programs presenting their work to industry professionals. The programs include: fashion design, textile design, knitwear design, 3D design and pattern making, costume design, journalism, styling, product development, visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, and fashion marketing. The fashion show portion of the event will include womenswear, menswear and childswear collections; several of the collections were created through collaboration by students within the fashion, knitwear and textile design programs.

To know that her contribution to the "art of comedy" would be included and recognized by the National Comedy Center would surely count as one of her greatest honors.

Earlier today, Sardi's unveiled a caricature for showbiz legend Rose Marie, to coincide with 'Wait For Your Laugh: The Longest Career in Showbiz History,' starring Dick Van Dyke, Carl Reiner, Tim Conway, Peter Marshall and, of course, Miss Rose Marie.
