Original Off Broadway Cast Recording Of OTHER LIVES: The Story Songs Of Michael Colby Will Be Released This Month

The original Off Broadway cast recording of “Other Lives: The Story Songs of Michael Colby” (Jay Records), a cycle of story songs by lyricist Michael Colby (Charlotte Sweet, Ludlow Ladd), with music by a variety of composers, including Alex Rybeck, Larry Hochman, Joseph Thalken, Steven Silverstein, will be officially released on CD and all digital music platforms on Friday, June 16th.

The evening was hosted by Broadway legend, Lee Roy Reams and featured performances and remembrances by Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum, Penny Worth and Tony Yazbeck.

Complete casting announced for the Harvey Evans Tribute includes Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Joel Grey, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum, Penny Worth and Tony Yazbeck, directed by Lawrence Leritz. Tony nominated Broadway star Tony Yazbeck will join A Toast to Harvey - Celebrating the Life and Career of Harvey Evans on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 6 - 9 PM at The Triad Theatre.

The evening will be hosted by his good friend and fellow hoofer, Lee Roy Reams, and features performances and remembrances by Jim Brochu, Anita Gillette, Kurt Peterson, Marianne Tatum and Penny Worth and directed by DO40 board member Lawrence Leritz, producer and choreographer of The Triad Theatre's hit show Boobs! The Musical.

The IRC provides emergency aid and long-term assistance to refugees and those displaced by war, persecution, or natural disaster.

Eric Michael Gillett Joins Cast Of Colby/Katz's Spooky: Slay It With Music In Concert

Actor-Singer-Director, Eric Michael Gillett, has joined the cast of Michael Colby and Paul Katz's Slay It With Music In Concert a?" to benefit International Rescue Committee. The original musical, acclaimed in both London and off-Broadway, is an ode to Grande Dame Guignol, the genre of 1960s horror movies in which stars like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford made screen comebacks, in the tradition of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Sunset Boulevard, and Psycho. It's a perfect way to cap off Halloween weekend, promising laughs, thrills and chills. The show is Saturday, November 2nd at 7 pm at The Green Room 42, on the 4th Floor of YOTEL at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue. The concert version features an all-star cast, directed by Charles Repole with musical direction by Phil Reno. Tickets range between $22.50 and $62.50, and are available now online at: https://tinyurl.com/yyyo4vhn. There is no minimum required at GR42.
