A new musical, never before told story about Santa Claus is now officially in the works, lead by multiple cross border production teams. The production is a huge collaboration between USA, UK and Scandinavia, with the intention to create a multi sensory theatrical experience.

Jeannine Kaspar will take over the starring role of Karen Lukoff in MsTRIAL at New World Stages beginning January 3, 2020. The role was originally played by Christine Evangelista who is leaving MsTRIAL to return to shooting a?oeThe Walking Dead.a?? Dep Kirkland 's MsTRIAL will get its New York debut this Fall. Directed by Rick Andosca, MsTRIAL will begin performances on Thursday, November 14 and will celebrate its opening on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, New World Stages (340 West 50 Street). Kristi Roosmaa, Nicole Corris with Corris Line Productions, and Maija Anttila with Soulgaze Films presented a sold out concert performance of Kalevala the Musical, composed by Johanna Telander at the Scandinavia House in New York.

Maija Anttila, Nicole Corris and Kristi Roosmaa, a powerful, all female driven team, are producing a concert performance featuring samples from an upcoming production of KALEVALA the musical, composed by Johanna Telander. The concert will take place March 5th, 2018 at 7pm at the SCANDINAVIA HOUSE. 58 PARK AVENUE, NEW YORK, NY 10016.

KALEVALA The Musical is a story of ancient legends told by the spirits of the haunted forest of Kalevala. The musical is adapted from materials of the national epic poem of Finland. Among others, the author of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit, J.R.R.Tolkien has acknowledged the direct influence of Kalevala in his works. The story has been set to an ethereal yet powerful pop, folk, and world music score written by Johanna Telander. The concert will feature performances from composer Johanna Telander, Raissa Katona Bennett (The Phantom of the Opera), Omer Shaish (Radio City Christmas Spectacular), and acclaimed Finnish actress Reeta Vestman, along with Mary Baron, Nicole Corris, Kelly Delaveris, Jennifer Hiemstra, Natsuko Hirano, Markus Kaitila, John Koski, Kristi Roosmaa, Catrina Teruel, and Amanda Yachechak. The band includes David Fletcher, Carol Ma, Arei Sekiguchi, and Christopher Telander, with musical direction by Sean Ferguson.
