 The Huntington has announced the world premiere of Our Daughters, Like Pillars, written by Obie Award-winning playwright and Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge (Luck of the Irish, Milk Like Sugar at The Huntington).

Woodstock Arts is excited to present Sweat by Lynn Nottage running from March 4- March 20, 2022. Winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize, Sweat is a masterful depiction of the forces that divide and conquer us. Lynn Nottage has won the Pulitzer Prize for drama, twice, and remains the only woman to do so.

Geffen Playhouse’s next live production in their Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater, Lindsay Joelle’s TRAYF opens March 10th (with previews already in progress). Christopher Wheeldon is one of the most prolific choreographers and outstanding directors in the world today. An OBE and Tony Award-winner for the 2015 Broadway production of An American in Paris (which he also directed), Wheeldon is the director and choreographer of the new musical MJ The Musical, which opened on Broadway February 1. 

Dundalk Community Theatre, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, presents Intimate Apparel,  by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage.

The inaugural production is Sweat, Lynn Nottage’s acclaimed modern-day drama about life in an American Rust Belt town being battered by the constant threat of company shutdowns. Sweat is the winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play and a landmark achievement of American theater. Performances are March 9th - April 24th, 2022. There are two press openings: Wednesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 17 at 7 p.m.

Fulton Theatre opens Rodgers and Hammerstein's last collaboration, The Sound of Music. A story about finding a place in the world and connecting with family; its themes are just as universal as its music is memorable. This production holds special significance for the Fulton as many cast members, designers, and crew were part of previous Fulton productions of The Sound of Music.

The League of Professional Theatre Womenan organization which has championed women in the professional theatre for four decades, today announced the youngest, most diverse leadership in its history: co-presidents Mary E. Hodges & Katrin Hilbe, and Executive Vice President, Malini Singh McDonald.  

After a two-year hiatus, Broadway's Future Songbook Series - produced, directed, and hosted by John Znidarsic - returns on Monday, February 28th at 6PM. The evening will spotlight the songs from Jermaine Rowe’s Children from the Blue Mountain in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
