Award-Winning UNEMPLOYED. FINALLY Back on Stage for Beyond Encore

Heather Dowling's award-winning solo show, Unemployed. Finally. has been invited to be a part of Theatre Asylum/Combined Artform's Beyond Encores, launching this October at Studio C in Hollywood. BEYOND ENCORES is an opportunity for artists and audiences to revisit some of the best shows from the last seven years of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. 

United Solo Festival Invites Award-Winning UNEMPLOYED. FINALLY. to Stage from L.A.

Performer Heather Dowling is bringing her award-winning solo-show, Unemployed. Finally. to New York City as part of the United Solo Festival on 42nd Street - the world's largest solo theatre festival - on October 19th. Dowling's show has been invited back on stage many times in Los Angeles, CA since the show's premiere in the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival. At Fringe, Dowling performed 6 sold-out shows, won the Producers' Encore Award and was nominated for Best Solo Performance, out of more than 80 shows.

Master Impressionist Carla Delaney Presents her (More Than) One Woman Show, VOICES

???????Chances are you've heard Carla Delaney's voice before. A master impressionist, her voice has featured in animation, video games and commercials everywhere. She's done everyone from Carol Brady in that famous Snicker's commercial to Bart Simpson to Martha Stewart to Lady Gaga, and the list goes on and on. A capable actor, Carla's created her own gallery of quirky, memorable character. She's written and performed in The Groundling's Sunday Company, in the hit show Forbidden Broadway, on TV's Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Conan, and much more.

CCCT to Continue 56th Season with Sarah Ruhl's THE CLEAN HOUSE, 2/12-3/6

Contra Costa Civic Theatre (CCCT) continues its 56th season with Sarah Ruhl's insightful comedy, The Clean House, directed by former Woman's Will Artistic Director Erin Merritt in her CCCT debut. The Clean House plays from February 12 through March 6; performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm at the theatre.

Theatre Unleashed to Launch New Spotlight Series

 Theatre Unleashed has been an active participant in the Hollywood Fringe Festival since its inception; producing, co-producing, sponsoring an award, volunteering and more. Theater Works to Continue Puppet Works Season with BOO!

Theater Works' revolutionary PuppetWorks season continues with Boo! A Halloween Spooktacular in the black light style of puppetry which causes the puppets, scenery and even the audience to glow-in-the-dark. Taking place October 17, 24 and 31, Boo! will be performed at 10:30 am and 12 pm at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts. Full of spooky shenanigans, Boo! tells the story of the scariest street in town, so scary no kid dares go trick-or-treating, where three friends set out on a fun filled Halloween adventure.

Visual Arts Presents January Gallery Crawl, Cultural District

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the line-up for its January Gallery Crawl taking place Friday, January 23, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District. The Gallery Crawl is a free and festive showcase that features a wide variety of thought-provoking art exhibitions, live bands, DJs, dance, comedy and more. The showcase of arts and entertainment is on display for art connoisseurs of all ages.
