The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and Music Director Gianandrea Noseda will release Beethoven Symphonies Nos. 6 & 8 on October 20, 2023 and will be available for pre-order on October 6, the third installment of a complete cycle of Beethoven symphonies on the National Symphony Orchestra label.  

The Met’s Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, will conduct Verdi’s Requiem for three performances only, on September 27, 29, and 30.

The iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre turns 110 today. To help celebrate one of Adelaide’s favourite supercentenarians, the theatre is  opening the doors to the public for a special exhibition and guided tours.

For this album, the soprano draws inspiration from the classic albums of iconic predecessors on Decca Classics, such as Kirsten Flagstad and Birgit Nilsson. The album features beautiful arrangements drawn from the label's archive, originally made for such legendary singers as Luciano Pavarotti, Leontyne Price, and Renée Fleming.

The Greek National Opera (GNO) presents leading French director Olivier Py's new production of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, following his acclaimed production of Berg's Wozzeck at GNO in 2020. Olivier Py, who has directed more than 40 operas around the world, embarks on his first staging of Madama Butterfly with a production that places the orchestra onstage and fills the outdoor venue with the aesthetics and colors of America and Japan.
