The West Bank Café has announced upcoming performances to be presented in The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

SIMPLY STREISAND, a celebration of Ms. Barbra Streisand, her legendary career and the music she made famous, will continue at The Laurie Beechman Theatre for one additional performance, following four critically acclaimed previous performances. SIMPLY STREISAND will continue on Wednesday, November 2 @ 7pm

LIVING FOR TODAY, with musical direction by Nate Patten, and direction by David Alpert, played a one-night-only engagement at the newly renovated Joe's Pub last night, October 17, 2011 at 7:00PM. The fourth annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert showcased Broadway stars in an exciting night of music. This year's concert, titled FIRST NAME BASIS, featured everyone's favorite showtunes, but only those with a first name in the title. Proceeds go to the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund. Following eighteen sold out shows, the hit cabaret series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, will continue for an nineteenth installment, Sunday, October 30 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the second year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010. The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell ([title of show]), music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific, Newsies). After two sold out extensions, rave reviews, and unprecedented audience demand, SILENCE! The Musical, will begin performances at The 9th Space Theatre at PS122 (150 First Avenue at 9th Street) beginning October 25th.
