THE SOUND OF MUSIC Global Tour - Second Season Launches in Shanghai, China. Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia are launching a second season of the international tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE SOUND OF MUSIC.
After a very successful opening on September 14th, Russell Brauer returns to The Pangea. “Russell Brauer Sings for One Hour (and 15 Minutes)” is a celebration of his love for the Great American Songbook. His final production at Pangea, 178 2nd Ave, New York City, will take place on November 14th, 2023.
The 44-track set features a cross-section of his most beloved songs and sought-after rarities. From the swinging “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and ebullient “Come Fly With Me” to the breathtaking “Moonlight in Vermont” and torch song “Only The Lonely,” the set also includes previously unreleased tracks culled from the Capitol vaults.
Due to high demand, The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization has announced an additional 2.30pm matinee performance of My Favorite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert playing on Tuesday, 12 December at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
