New York theatre company BEDLAM, led by Artistic Director Eric Tucker, has announced casting for its next show. THE ASSASSINATION OF JULIUS CAESAR AS TOLD BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE AND GEORGE BERNARD SHAW will have its world premiere at the West End Theatre (263 West 86th St.), starting performances on February 24th, 2024.

When putting up a show for Children's Theatre, one of the main things you need to concern yourself with is how are the adults doing watching your show. The kids may be having a great time but if there's nothing for the adults who brought the kids to latch onto, then they might not bring the kids back next time. Seattle Children's Theatre usually has that covered with some wonderful performances and artistry. And while their current production of a?oeBlack Beautya?? certainly looked great with some fantastic puppets from Annett Mateo, the story lacked much of an arc and, at least for this adult, failed to thrill.

On Thursday, July 18, 2019 the Texas Chapter of the organization behind the annual GRAMMY Awards® will host an evening gala that brings together Recording Academy members and leaders, as well as music industry supporters, to recognize its years of service to the music community. The evening includes performances by GRAMMY®-winning and GRAMMY-nominated Texas Chapter members. The gala will take place at ACL Live to honor the longest running music television series, Austin City Limits and the rich history of the Texas music scene. With Recording Academy member-only programming happening earlier in the evening, the venue opens to the public at 8 p.m. for star-studded performances representing a variety of musical genres that have come from the region. Ticket sales for non-members will be announced on Wednesday, June 12 by ACL Live.
