The Segal Centre for Performing Arts will welcome back audiences to the theatre with Every Brilliant Thing by Duncan Macmillan with Johnny Donahoe.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to be partnering with Black Theatre Workshop (BTW) on Liberation's Radiance, a light installation by BTW's Artist in Residence, Lighting Designer Tim Rodrigues, to commemorate Black History Month.

Winners have been announced for the 2020 BroadwayWorld Montreal Awards - which were back bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade! 

For its first onstage production since March, the Segal Centre is proud to announce a collaboration with the renowned French-language theatre Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (TNM). Performances of Underneath the Lintel were originally planned for both a live – at reduced capacity and with new health and safety guidelines in place – and live stream audience.

Segal Centre's Broadway Happy Hour has returned! An all new episode was posted featuring Nick Burgess and Lisa Rubin, who gave a little preview of Saturday's show.

For its first in-person production since March, the Segal Centre has announced a collaboration with the renowned French theatre, Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, and the French Theatre of the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. This will be the first co-production between the Segal and TNM.

The Segal Centre is thrilled to be welcoming back Tony nominee and 4-time Dora winner Louise Pitre and W. Joseph Matheson (as seen in 2018's hit The Angel and the Sparrow) for a concert celebration of Jewish musical artists of the 60s. Directed by Avery Saltzman, The Times They Are a Changin' will be rocking the Sylvan Adams Theatre from March 1 to March 22, 2020.

The Segal Centre is proud to continue its mission of developing and premiering new musical theatre works with top Canadian talent with a new pop/rock musical about the Greek goddess Persephone. Directed by Brian Hill and featuring a high-energy score filled with epic anthems by Marcus Stevens and Oran Eldor, the North American premiere of Mythic will be in the Sylvan Adams Theatre from October 27 to November 17, 2019.

Whereas most of us tend to do 'dinner and a show', last Friday night I had the rare treat of having 'a show and dinner' at The Segal Centre. Now this was not The Segal's Tuesday Night Live dinner and show combo; this was an early evening presentation of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre's newly remounted A Century Songbook, followed by a Shabbes (Sabbath) Dinner. A first for The Segal, this concept turned a great show into an unforgettable cultural immersive experience for audience members of all ages.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is announcing the Montreal premiere of Indecent, directed by Segal Centre Artistic and Executive Director Lisa Rubin. Inspired by true events, this buzzworthy new play by Paula Vogel is an homage to the art of making theatre, and is one of the most produced plays across North America this season. This riveting play filled with music will be in the Segal Centre's Sylvan Adams Theatre from April 28 to May 19, 2019.

Conceived and created by Katz, Be a Good Girl is a one woman show that combines drama, dark comedy, video clips, and original songs to tell true stories of sexual assault and its repercussions.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to welcome back Rick Miller for the Montreal premiere of BOOM X, a Kidoons and WYRD in association with Theatre Calgary and The 20K Collective production. BOOM X is the second installment in Miller's trilogy of shows designed to tell a big-picture story: 75 years of history in this corner of our planet. While BOOM explored the Baby Boomer era, this sequel tells the story of Generation X: the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Just in time for Valentine's Day, BOOM X rocks the Sylvan Adams Theatre at the Segal Centre from February 14 to March 10, 2019.
