Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man & the Pool will extend its Broadway engagement due to popular demand.

The touring production of MY FAIR LADY opened in New Haven, CT on October 19th at The Shubert Theatre and has since had stops in Bloomington, IN and Midland, MI and is currently in  Dallas, TX for two weeks. Get a first look at photos here!

In a follow-up to a groundbreaking study, the Wellesley Centers for Women has partnered with the League of Resident Theatres to analyze the racial and gender representation of theater leadership and examine barriers to entry. The study will inform LORT's future efforts to address oppressive systems and practices in leadership and governance.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Andrew Burnap will be Arthur, Phillipa Soo will be Guenevere, and Jordan Donica will be Lancelot Du Lac in its new version of Lerner & Loewe's Camelot, a fresh take on the classic tale.

Lantern Theater Company continues its 2022/23 season with the Philadelphia premiere of The Royale by award-winning American playwright Marco Ramirez. Philadelphia theater artist Zuhairah McGill makes her Lantern directorial debut, leading an ensemble cast of Philadelphia actors that includes Phillip Brown, Morgan Charéce Hall, Gregory Isaac, Brian Anthony Wilson, and Kahlil A. Wyatt.

Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure by Steven Dietz, adapted from the original 1899 play by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and William Gillette, opens at Portland Stage Friday, October 28 at 7:30 pm.

Page 73 and Working Theater have announced the cast of Bleu Beckford-Burrell’s La Race (November 21–December 23 at the McGinn/Cazale Theater at WP Theater.

On Tuesday, October 25, cast and creatives gathered for the first rehearsal of the Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXEGESIS. Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and director Kate Whoriskey will bring their latest Broadway triumph, “Clyde’s,” a co-production with Goodman Theatre in Chicago to the Mark Taper Forum November 15 to December 18. It recently concluded the Goodman engagement.

Due to a positive Covid case in the company which caused a significant disruption in the rehearsal process, Lincoln Center Theater’s upcoming production of Becky Nurse of Salem, a new play by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Rebecca Taichman, will now begin previews Tuesday, November 8 and open on Sunday, December 4 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

Acclaimed Black Filipinx playwright and Kilroys List honoree Roger Q. Mason will receive a developmental reading of their new play THE PINK with Primary Stages as part of their Creative Access Grant Reading Series. The reading will take place on Friday, November 4 at 3pm at 59E59 Theaters.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for The Sound of Music, directed by Mark S. Hoebee. The production will feature Ashley Blanchet (Paper Mill’s Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Broadway’s Waitress) as Maria Rainer, and Graham Rowat (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, Sunset Boulevard) as Captain Georg von Trapp.
