Women in Theatre Festival Presents Megan Monaghan Rivas' Three Musketeers: 1941

Project Y Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Megan Monaghan Rivas' Three Musketeers: 1941, co-directed by Michole Biancosino and Andrew W. FST Presents NNPN Women In Playwriting Festival

Florida Studio Theatre announces that, in association with the National New Play Network (NNPN), it will produce and host the NNPN Women in Playwriting Festival this spring. Part of FST's Sarasota Festival of New Plays, this three-week Festival will take place throughout April and May, with staged readings of the featured plays in FST's Keating Theatre on April 26, May 3, and May 10, and in FST's Bowne's Lab Theatre on April 24.

Premiere Stages At Kean University Announces 2019 Premiere Play Festival Finalists

Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has selected its four finalists for the 2019 Premiere Play Festival. Now in its 15th year, the Festival is an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. This year's finalists were selected from a record 659 submissions, a 15% increase from the previous record set in 2018.

Writer's Theatre Of New Jersey Shares Lineup for Soundings Reading Series

The Writer's Theatre of New Jersey is kicking off their 2019 season with a series of new play readings in the new Madison Community Arts Center venue. This Winter Madison will be filled with writers eager to hear their pages come to life in front of an audience. Starting on January 3rd and going straight through until January 17th there will be 15 plays in 15 days.

Florida Studio Theatre Announces New Play Reading

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) presents a new play workshop of Lia Romeo's The Forest, a touching new dark comedy about a mother and daughter who experience extreme change in their lives. Romeo will collaborate with FST's Artistic staff on furthering the work from October 22-26, culminating in a staged reading of the play on Friday, October 26 at 3 PM in FST's Bowne's Lab Theatre. This event is presented as part of FST's expanding New Play Development program, and is free and open to the public, however, reservations are required. Art House Productions Announces 2018/2019 Season

Art House Productions announces its full schedule of arts programming from September 2018 until June 2019.  Beginning in September, Art House presents its first Artist-in-Residence: Raven Taisce White. Raven is a trans woman from South Carolina and her company, BIRDHOUSE perform a reimagining of their piece Hot Winter. Hot Winter follows five humans as they struggle to understand one another, unifying in difference and falling apart in sameness and is a surrealistic look at the performers' collective universe.
