Dance Theatre of Harlem has announced the highly anticipated remounting of one of its most signature ballets, Firebird.

Dance Theatre of Harlem has released the online premiere of Geoffrey Holder's spectacular Dougla as its final streaming performance this summer on DTH On Demand, the company's platform of online performances, classes, artist conversations, and more.

On April 7th 2016 at New York City Center, Dance Theatre of Harlem ably performed an eclectic quadruple bill in which the closer, the late Geoffrey Holder's “Dougla”, was far and away the best of the evening's offerings.

Two world premieres, one by the “Lion King,” Tony Award-winning choreographer Garth Fagan and the other by Fagan's muse, rehearsal director and “Bessie Award” winner Norwood Pennewell, are among the highlights of Garth Fagan Dance's 45th anniversary celebration that takes place at The Joyce Theater, November 3-8.
