Vineyard Theatre and Developing Artists will partner again to present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, Thursday through Saturday August 9-18 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.). Each night will include a prominent Guest Artist joining the festival for a special performance.

Conrad Ricamora is best-known to millions of TV viewers as Oliver, the cute computer whiz, on ABC's 'How to Get Away With Murder.' But this 2013 Theatre World Award winner also can slay an audience onstage as he has proven Off-Broadway in 'Here Lies Love' and on Broadway in 'The King and I.' And Ricamora is currently 'killing it' as the star of 'Soft Power,' David Henry Hwang and Jeanine Tesori's bold, new musical. Directed by Leigh Silverman, it is playing through July 8 at the Curran in San Francisco.

Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Patrick Willingham announced the line-up today for The Public's 2018-19 Season at their landmark home on 425 Lafayette Street. The iconic New York destination, which includes five theaters and Joe's Pub, as well as The Library restaurant, has been home to over 50 years of revolutionary theater, and continues this season with new work by Emerging Writers Group alum and 2017-18 Tow Foundation Playwright-in-Residence Patricia Ione Lloyd, Public Studio alumni Hansol Jung and Jordan E. Cooper, Master Writer Chair Suzan-Lori Parks, Conor McPherson, Simon Stephens, Nick Payne, Jane Anderson, Tim Blake Nelson, and Luis Alfaro, as well as the continuation of year-round and community engagement programming: Mobile Unit, Public Works, Under the Radar Festival, Public Studio, Public Forum, Public Shakespeare Initiative, Emerging Writers Group, and the beloved Free Shakespeare in the Park.

Vineyard Theatre announces the second extension of the world-premiere production of THE BEAST IN THE JUNGLE. This original dance play by legendary composer and four-time Tony Award winner John Kander, Tony-nominated playwright David Thompson, and five-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman will extend until through Sunday, June 24.

The final event in The Dare Tactics 4th Season, A Roller Rink Temptation, By Catherine Weingarten, will roll into WOW Cafe Theatre May 25-27, 2018. Helmed by Daniella Caggiano, Roller Rink is a coming of age dark comedy romp about six teen chicks at a lesbian roller rink struggling for love in a new and sexiii world. Rootabega (Maggie Metnick*) is super jewy and confused about her sexuality, but luckily one of the rink's employee's, Lemonade (Dani Martineck) is ready to show her around. Poppy (Leah Lane) is finally 16 and her and her BFF Clementine ( Hui-Shan Yong) are super excited to celebrate; too bad a fat, scary, girly repressed secret threatens their friendship. Salmonella (Claire Rose Autran) says she's 'straight' but a chance encounter with an awkward butch artist named Bluebell (Azalea Lewis) complicates everything.
TDF Open Doors to Present 2018 Graduation

Over 400 guests including current and past New York City high school students, and the performing arts professional mentors who have participated in TDF Open Doors, the theatre arts mentoring program that TDF founded in 1998 with playwright Wendy Wasserstein, will attend this year's graduation at 5:30pm on Monday, June 4 at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 West 59th Street, NYC).
