BWW Review: MOTHER OF HIM, Park Theatre

Based on a true story, Evan Placey's debut play Mother of Him tells the story of a Canadian teenager under house arrest while he waits for his hearing. We eventually discover that Matthew (Scott Folan) has raped several girls at a sorority house along with a friend. Although we don't see the world outside - every time the front door opens, there are flashes from the paparazzi cameras and shouts from journalists who are camped outside the family home.

BWW Review: THE LIFE I LEAD, Wyndham's Theatre

Miles Jupp thrives in this thoughtful and funny look at the life, times and career of British actor David Tomlinson, who died in 2000 aged 83 and was most famous for playing Mr Banks in the 1964 classic Mary Poppins.

Full Casting Announced For In Park200

Full casting has been announced for Evan Placey's award-winning drama Mother of Him, which opens at Park Theatre on 18 September running until 26 October, with press night on Tuesday 24 September at 19.00 in Park200.

Tyrone Huntley To Star In THE VIEW UPSTAIRS At Soho Theatre

Tyrone Huntley will star as Wes in the European premiere of new LGBTQ+ musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, which runs from 18 July to 24 August at Soho Theatre, with a press night on Tuesday 23 July and a special gala night in aid of the Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT) on 24 July.

Best known to many as Mr Banks in Mary Poppins, actor David Tomlinson actually had a quite extensive career on stage and screen - as well as more than his fair share of personal dramas. James Kettle's new play sees Tomlinson taking a trip down memory lane, recounting the challenges and successes of 40 years in acting; The Life I Lead stars comedian and actor Miles Jupp, and has just begun a short run at the Park Theatre as part of a nationwide tour.

Now, she is striving to find her identity while Demeter struggles to accept that her offspring is growing up.

Miles Jupp To Star In The World Premiere Of THE LIFE I LEAD

Miles Jupp, one of Britain's leading stand-up comedians and revered actors (Mock the Week, Balamory, The News Quiz, Rev, The Durrells), will tour the UK in 2019, with the world premiere of THE LIFE I LEAD by James Kettle, directed by Selina Cadell, opening at the Exeter Northcott on 6 February.

The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch is bringing Mike Leigh's cult classic, Abigail's Party home to its Essex roots this autumn. Set in 'theoretical Romford', this delicious 70s comedy notorious for its references to cheesy-pineapple and Demis Roussos is co-produced with Derby Theatre, Wiltshire Creative and international partner Les Theatres de la Ville de Luxembourg.

Extra Performances Added For The Run Of Jordan Seavey's HOMOS, OR EVERYONE IN AMERICA At The Finborough Theatre

Following critical acclaim and with the current run almost sold out, the European premiere of Jordan Seavey's Homos, or Everyone in America at the Finborough Theatre adds 3 extra Wednesday matinees due to public demand - 15, 22 and 29 August at 3pm. Josh Seymour directs Tyrone Huntley (The Academic), Harry McEntire (The Writer), Dan Krikler (Dan) and Cash Holland (Laila). The production completes its run on 1 September.
