Mount Olympus gets a swanky revamp in Mythic, Marcus Stevens and Oran Eldor's new musical retelling of the myth of Persephone (Georgie Westall). Daughter of Zeus (Tim Oxbrow) and Demeter (Daniella Bowen), young P. has been brought up by her single mother - a very zen Mother Earth - away from the buzz and flashiness of the Gods. Now, she is striving to find her identity while Demeter struggles to accept that her offspring is growing up.
Miles Jupp To Star In The World Premiere Of THE LIFE I LEAD

Set in 'theoretical Romford', this delicious 70s comedy notorious for its references to cheesy-pineapple and Demis Roussos is co-produced with Derby Theatre, Wiltshire Creative and international partner Les Theatres de la Ville de Luxembourg.

Following critical acclaim and with the current run almost sold out, the European premiere of Jordan Seavey's Homos, or Everyone in America at the Finborough Theatre adds 3 extra Wednesday matinees due to public demand - 15, 22 and 29 August at 3pm. Josh Seymour directs Tyrone Huntley (The Academic), Harry McEntire (The Writer), Dan Krikler (Dan) and Cash Holland (Laila). The production completes its run on 1 September.

The musical, Floyd Collins, has just two weeks left of its run in the atmospheric East End gem, Wilton's Music Hall, with just 14 performances up until 15th October. The critically acclaimed musical, set in Kentucky in 1925, tells the extraordinary true story of a cave explorer who dreams of finding fame and fortune deep underground. When the unthinkable happens and he becomes trapped, it is a desperate race against time as Collins' friends and family fight to set him free and keep his spirits up through a dark and dangerous time. Above ground, his plight catches the eye of the local press, and as the days and weeks pass, the whole country is riveted by his story and the media circus that surrounds it.

As an actor, Nigel Harman's numerous credits include EastEnders, Guys and Dolls, Downton Abbey and Shrek The Musical, the latter of which he also directed. He's now helming the revival of a Steven Berkoff double bill: Lunch, about an abortive one-night stand, and The Bow of Ulysses, revisiting the couple after 20 years of marriage. The plays star Shaun Dooley and Emily Bruni, and begin at Trafalgar Studios on 6 October.

Print Room at The Coronet Announces Autumn 2016 Season

Artistic Director Anda Winters today announces Print Room at the Coronet's forthcoming season running through until December 2016. The season opens with Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Michael Oakley. The production opens in the main theatre space on 15 September, with previews from 12 September, and runs until 7 October.
Danny Lee Wynter, Tom Varey & Joseph Quinn Lead Jean Genet's DEATHWATCH at the Print Room

The full cast is announced for the final production in the Coronet's spring season, DEATHWATCH, from April 11 to May 7. This new Print Room production of Jean Genet's powerful and provocative first play, in a translation by David Rudkin, marks its first major revival in almost 30 years. Deathwatch stars Danny Lee Wynter, Joseph Quinn, Tom Varey and Emma Naomi, and is directed by Geraldine Alexander, who received critical acclaim for the direction of her own play, Amygdala, at The Print Room's former space in 2013. The Coronet is also working with playwright David Rudkin on complementary activity around the production.
