3 hearts canvas, the producers of hit show Smoke at Southwark Playhouse, bring their one-woman show, SPIN, to the Arcola Theatre in January, following an acclaimed and sell-out run in Edinburgh this summer.

In just a few weeks, Netflix will have people streaming the newest season of 'The Crown.' The show has always been popular, but with the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth, it has had a resurgence leading up to season 5. London's Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts today announced that its main theatre is to be known as The Mack, in honour of Sir Cameron Mackintosh's long-standing support for Mountview which included a generous gift of £1 million to complete the building of the theatre that will now bear his name.

Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk Award-winning musical, The Last Five Years, will now be opening at the larger Garrick Theatre for an extended limited season, previewing from 17 September, with an opening night on Thursday 23 September and now running until 17 October 2021.

Broadway On Demand will present the first-ever streamed production of Jason Robert Brown's Drama Desk Award-winning musical, The Last Five Years, recorded live at the Southwark Playhouse, for five performances only this Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday, November 26 - Sunday, November 29 only on Broadway On Demand.

Lockwood Henderson Productions will present the first London revival of 'Constellations' by Nick Payne at Southwark Playhouse, directed by Jonathan O'Boyle, and starring Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo and Oliver Johnstone. The play will run Thursday 26 November - Saturday 19 December, 2020.

Southwark Playhouse today announced Nick Payne's Constellations as the next show to follow the current run of The Last Five Years and Philip Ridley's The Poltergeist in its new socially distanced auditorium. The production will play for three weeks from 26 November - 19 December 2020 to a live socially distanced audience of 110.

Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years has a brilliantly problematic narrative - two souls taking us on a journey of their relationship, but one in chronological order (Jamie), and one in reverse (Cathy). Jonathan O'Boyle's version takes it to the upper echelons of directorial genius by creating an actor-muso production where the actors are entwined at all times through the music itself - and now, I can't imagine consuming this musical in any other way.
