Major new British musical 'Billie the Kid' will be semi-staged in front of a live audience for the first time at the Vaudeville Theatre, Monday 13 and 20 November.

Mark Rylance returns to the West End this summer in Dr Semmelweis opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 11 July, with previews from 29 June, and running until Saturday 7 October.

The prospect of a choreographic platform or festival is always exciting. DanceWest Fest at Hammersmith's Lyric saw the first outing of the rebranded Ignition Dance Festival. The night was hosting four dance makers, all presenting new work (or nearly) for an energised audience.

After ten years, IMPERMANENCE, directed by Roseanna Anderson and Joshua Ben-Tovim, is set to take a major step change in delivery as they open a new home for dance in Bristol. Anderson and Ben-Tovim have just signed a lease for an iconic building in the centre of the city - The Mount Without, a Grade ll listed church which has undergone a £1 million renovation.

The Place, one of London's leading dance venues, is delighted to announce its summer season, a programme brimming with inspiring and compelling live and digital performance. We are looking forward to a scorching summer of live performance, with highlights including Inscribed in 'Me' by Work Place Artist Alethia Antonia, a triple bill from National Dance Company Wales and Fat Blokes by Scottee & Friends Ltd.

Rose Theatre has announced it is reopening its doors once again on 27 June 2021. Following three national lockdowns, the Rose is reopening to the public with a series of summer shows and events, including The International Youth Arts Festival by Creative Youth from 1 July 2021 and more.

A new online run of the Bush Theatre’s production Overflow will be presented by Bristol Old Vic from 6-8 May. Bristol theatre-maker and writer Travis Alabanza’s latest play was premiered and recorded at the Bush Theatre in Dec 2020, and stars Reece Lyons as Rosie.

New York Theatre Ballet presents Between the Acts: Dance Preservation on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 12pm ET on Zoom. Diving into the art of preserving dance history, this installment of Between the Acts will feature curator of dance for the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Jane Pritchard, Director of Preservation for Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Norton Owen, and curator of the Jerome Robbins Dance Division, Linda Murray.

New York Theatre Ballet will present Between the Acts: Antony Tudor on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 11am ET on Zoom. Taking a look at the life and works of Antony Tudor, this installment of Between the Acts will also feature curator of dance for the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Jane Pritchard and more.

Luca Silvestrini, Artistic Director of Luca Silvestrini’s Protein has been awarded a prestigious Premio della Critica by the Associazione Nazionale Critici di Teatro (ANCT). The ANCT awards, given annually by Italy’s national association of theatre critics, exist to celebrate the vitality of the performing arts sector.

Following a double bill of Silvestrini's work for HeadSpaceDance streamed at the start of the month, Luca Silvestrini's Protein continue their Protein 21 Remix digital series with Ride and Stairworks featuring Luca himself. The provocative duet Ride oscillates between aspiration and desire, unbridled passion and respectability, and is accompanied by Stairworks, a piece performed on outdoor staircases by men wearing only white bath towels.  

South African dancer and choreographer Marc Goldberg, 39, has been awarded a partial scholarship to study at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire in Music and Dance in London, after successfully applying to do his Masters in Fine Art. 

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Lea Anderson in Lea Anderson Sings Whitney Houston on February 13th at 9:30pm. A Seven-Year Anniversary Tribute Show. Whitney Houston was the voice of a generation. Her countless hit singles will live forever in the songbook of our world. On the seven-year anniversary of Whitney's tragic (and all too early) passing from this earth, New York based R&B singer Lea Anderson is gathering her band led by Lindsay Zaroogian, and featuring special guest singers to pay tribute to one of the greatest voices pop music has ever known.

Lea Anderson will sing the songs made famous by Whitney Houston at Feinstein's/54 Below.
