Broadwayworld.com caught up with New Jersey's own, Brigid Harrington, the 18-year old Broadway actress, singer and dancer. She will soon be starting her Freshman year studies at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana where she will double major in FilmTVTheatre and Political Science, with a minor in Voice. We had the opportunity to learn about her career and some of her plans for the future.

If you know one thing about Alaska, it's that she won RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE ALL-STARS 2. If you know a second thing about her, it's probably that she's obsessed with THE GOLDEN GIRLS. So much so, in fact, that the drag queen and her partner-in-crime, Handsome Jeremy, molded that obsession into a live show, which returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre for an encore run in August. Before Alaska kicks off the latest string of shows, we spoke with her by phone about what fans can expect from the aptly-titled show, ON GOLDEN GIRLS, which pays tribute to the musical stylings featured on the beloved sitcom.

Karen Finley, a name synonymous with Performance Art, will present more performances of her new show GRABBING PUSSY, inspired by her new book of the same title from OR Books. It will now be presented through August 12, Sundays at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theater (inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2,3 trains at 42nd Street). Farmers Alley Theatre is closing its historic 10th anniversary season with the biggest musical production ever, Mel Brooks' record-setting 12 Time Tony Award Winning comedic masterpiece, THE PRODUCERS. BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night, June 28th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate 10 years of being Broadway's favorite night out with an anniversary super show! Themed, Broadway Sessions: Greatest Hits, Broadway Sessions guests will return to recreate some of the series most memorable musical moments.
