Lauren Gunderson's THE REVOLUTIONISTS at Gulfshore Playhouse tells the story of Olympe de Gouges, a woman playwright during the French Revolution, along with three other strong women living in France during the Reign of Terror: Marie Antoinette, Charlotte Corday, and Marianne Angelle.

Sinclair Theatre will present SILENT SKY, February 8-16 in its Black Box Theatre, Building 2, on the downtown Dayton campus.

Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) will present the world premiere of The Heath by Lauren Gunderson, one of the most produced playwrights in America (Silent Sky, I and You, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley) from February 13 to March 10 at the Nancy L. The next show running in Playhouse on Park's Main Stage Series is Lauren Gunderson's The Revolutionists, a grand and dream-tweaked comedy about art and activism, feminism and terrorism, violence and legacy, and changing the world. This provocative play runs February 20-March 10; opening night, including a complimentary wine and cheese reception, is set for February 22.

I and You will run two weekends, February 2-9, 2019, performing in the Isaac Studio at Taproot Theatre in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The Revolutionists is a comedic play about four women who lived boldly in France during the French Revolution's Reign of Terror. Playwright Olympe De Gouge, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle hang out, murder Marat, loose their heads and try to beat back the extremist insanity in 1793's Paris. What began as a hopeful revolution for the people of France and her colonies to address social and economic inequality is now sinking into hyper-violent extremist insanity.
