In honor of Women's History Month, Dance Theatre of Harlem will host Firebird Day, a celebration of its iconic Firebird ballet, on Saturday, March 13.

IMDb TV, Amazon's free streaming service, and Amazon Prime Video announced today that it has renewed the spy thriller series Alex Rider for a second season.

Olivier Award winner Jessica Swale is reworking an adaptation of the classic ballet for the screen with Felicity Jones (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY) in the lead, Deadline reported.

BETSY McBRIDE, SIMON WEXLER, PAOLA HARTLEY, and KAREN SCALZITTI-KENNEDY will be members of the guest faculty for the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ms. McBride and Mr. Wexler will be teaching from July 27-31, 2020, and Ms.  Hartley and Ms. Scalzitti-Kennedy will be teaching from August 3-7, 2020.

Brave New Workshop is back, rounding out its 60th Anniversary Season with a look in Santa's dime bag for Angels We Have Heard Are High (O Holy Crap!). This year's annual holiday romp features all-star cast Lauren Anderson, Denzel Belin, Doug Neithercott, and Taj Ruler. Anderson, Belin, and Ruler are all fresh from Brave New Workshop's 'Ferris Meuller's Day Off,' while Neithercott is making his Brave New Workshop debut.

ZHONG-JING FANG, soloist of American Ballet Theatre, PAOLA HARTLEY, former principal dancer of Ballet Arizona, KARL CONDON, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, and ILYA KOZADAYEV, former soloist of the Houston Ballet will be on the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana.   Zhong-Jing Fang and Paola Hartley will be on the faculty from July 23-27, 2018, and Karl Condon and  Ilya Kozadayev will be on the faculty from July 30-August 3, 2018.  

Houston Ballet presents the much-anticipated return of former Artistic Director Ben Stevenson's Don Quixote, a thrilling revival of the classic tale, gracing the stage for the first time in more than a decade. Houston Ballet continues their Hometown Tour in venues across the city, performing this exciting ballet at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts April 13-15, 2018.

The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) welcomes deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons to enjoy an ASL-interpreted performance of their hit sketch comedy revue 'The Polarizing Express: Dysfunction Junction' This show, interpreted by professional ASL interpreters Carlos Grant and Tarra Grammenos, will be on Friday, January 19th, 2017 at 8:00pm at the Brave New Workshop Theatre at 824 Hennepin Ave in downtown Minneapolis.
