Gianandrea Noseda will lead the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) in their first Carnegie Hall concert together on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. This performance in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage marks the Orchestra's first performance in six years at the Hall.

Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley is hosting their annual Wish Ball - 'An Evening of Wishes' Friday, May 3, and will honor Multi-Grammy and Tony Award-nominated composer/producer Frank Wildhorn with the Chris Greicius Award. Frank is known for his musicals including Jekyll and Hyde and popular songs including the number one international hit song, 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go'-made famous by Whitney Houston.

Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. The Hylton Center also announced the first Hylton Center EXTRA! for the season: the husband and wife duo and banjo icons, B la Fleck and Abigail Washburn, in a special concert event featuring their unique blend of alternative bluegrass. It was a big day at Sari's yesterday, as the iconic venue just unveiled a brand new Broadway portrait! Friends and family joined Tony Award winner and star of The Prom Beth Leavel, as her portrait joined the historic collection on the restaurant's walls, honoring Broadway's finest for more than 85 years. In addition, SDC Member, 2015 'Mr. Abbott' Award recipient, and Tony Award winner James Lapine presented a special 'Mr. Abbott' Award to Victoria Traube. 

For the seventh year in a row, Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel with their evening of swinging standards starting Sunday, April 7, then running every Sunday through June 30, from 9pm to midnight.

Mel Brooks' The Producers - the Broadway smash hit musical that cleaned up at the Tony Awards in 2001 - is presented by Murfreesboro's Center for the Arts starting tonight, March 22, and running through April 7. Directed by Chris McLaurin and Natalie Quinn (who last teamed up for the First Night Award-winning Pirates of Penzance at CFTA), the zany comedy features a cast led by John Frost Jr. and Tucker Young and Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom.
