Paige Davis (Chicago) and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland) join Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten) and Jose Llana (The King and I) for the first annual Broadway Bee, featuring actors from current hit musicals, in an adults only spelling bee, on Monday, May 9 at 7pm at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St). Proceeds benefit Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization.

From May 7 - June 4, 2016, SpeakEasy Stage Company will proudly present the Boston Professional Premiere of DOGFIGHT, a powerful new musical about unexpected love, loss, and brotherhood, based on the 1991 film starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor. 

Just last week, Jay Armstrong Johnson (April 27-30); Drama Desk nominated, and Kleban Prize and Jonathan Larson Award Winning songwriter Joe Iconis (April 17); Laura Michelle Kelly (May 2, 16 & 30); Howard McGillin (May 11); and Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (April 15-17) gathered at Feinstein's/54 Below to preview their upcoming solo shows. Tony-nominated Broadway favorite Marc Kudisch will step into the duo roles of Charles Frohman and Captain James Hook in the hit Broadway musical Finding Neverland, the story of how Peter became Pan, beginning Tuesday, April 12. As previously announced, ensemble member Paul Slade Smith will play both roles until Kudisch steps into role. The actress delivered an unforgettable take on swarmy lawyer Billy Flynn, surrounded by a bevy of feathery beauties, many from the original 1996 CHICAGO revival cast, including Nili Bassman, Mindy Cooper, Mamie Duncan-Gibbs, Gabriela Garcia, Mary Ann Lamb, Dana Moore and Solange Sandy. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record.
